The history of the evolution of the thermometer


The first to create the thermometer was the Italian scientist Galileo in the 16th century,

but it was huge and took a long time to measure the temperature, and it was difficult to move it from one place to another. 

Gabriel Fahrenheit created another scale in the 18th century, which was smaller but remained impractical for measuring temperature.

The first scale similar to the modern era is created by the English scientist Sir Thomas Clifford Allbutt in 1876.

For the first time, the work of this measure relied on the use of mercury and compared its expansion to body temperature, and was about 15 cm long...
